My old 1tb hdd in my computer started acting slower a few months ago. When playing games, it would freeze and show no signal, forcing me to restart the PC. My specs include 16gb RAM at 3200mhz, a Ryzen 5 3400g processor, and no GPU. I mainly use Fortnite from my boot drive, which has a 240gb SSD and works perfectly for hours. Recently I swapped it out for a 256gb NVMe Samsung drive because of its lower price. After installing it, I played Fortnite for about 15 minutes without issues, then tried Saints Row Online for around 40 minutes before again seeing the black screen and loss of signal. I’m still unsure what’s causing this problem, especially since Fortnite runs smoothly otherwise.
