A few months ago I assembled my initial computer and encountered a problem with Windows after installing it on my machine. I then reinstalled from the beginning. Since then, I've consistently had 930 GB of storage instead of the original 1 TB on my NVMe drive. I think I might have lost the full 1 TB before the reinstall, though I'm not certain. It's possible I didn't notice it at the time. Recently, I became concerned again and wondered if this was typical.

Windows requires a minimum of 20GB storage. How much space do your additional programs use? Are you currently running Windows alone or using a dual-boot setup?

Consider the space occupied by the formatting and note that Windows measures in Mebibytes, not Megabytes. Thus 1000GB equals approximately 953 Mebibytes.
