I’d start fresh with just the basics. CMOS clean, single RAM stick, SSD drive, new Windows setup using drivers from the motherboard maker and Nvidia’s site for the GPU. Skip third-party antivirus or video players. Begin with web browsing, then add apps gradually. Progress slowly until the BSOD shows up again, hoping it stops. If that happens, I’ll swap parts in this order: RAM, GPU, motherboard (B550 or X570). Since finding spare parts for every new item is tough, I’ll use an old GPU for testing, borrow RAM from a friend, and leave the motherboard until you need it. You probably have a working CPU. Also, if you can get a Ryzen 2 series free, try it too.

I've already attempted a fresh setup with nothing installed and was browsing the internet. Tried using borrowed RAM, but the problem persisted. Experimented with a different GPU (1060), yet nothing changed. The only consistent factor is constant internet connection—every time I browse or download something, it triggers a BSOD. I haven't had any prolonged downloads or uploads without an internet connection. Playing games or running stress tests doesn’t seem to cause the issue, suggesting the problem might be related to the motherboard's internet controller. I plan to leave the computer idle without internet for a day to see if it still triggers the BSOD. If it does, I'll try your suggested solution again to confirm I didn't overlook anything. Otherwise, if I can't identify the issue, I'll consider purchasing or borrowing another motherboard and proceed from there.

Consider testing with a Wi-Fi USB adapter first. Then, remove your Ethernet cable and check for any differences.

I found something intriguing. When I powered the computer off without an internet connection, it crashed after about two hours. But with just the Ethernet cable and video still connected, the PC ran smoothly for nearly 13 hours. Could this suggest a problem with the USB ports on your motherboard? Also, regarding the Razer mouse, Synapse is a common tool for managing mouse settings—using it shouldn’t usually cause issues unless there’s a conflict or update problem.

Create a Live Linux USB using Linux Mint Cinnamon and launch it. Begin exploring without installing anything, then verify if you experience any issues similar to those in your previous Windows setup.

It depends on what happens. If it doesn’t crash, it might point to a software problem rather than a hardware failure. If it does crash, it could suggest a hardware issue. Since Linux is usually stable, a crash would likely be due to software-related problems. You’re right that Linux is hard to make crash even with bad hardware.

I agree that is hard to get Linux crash, but if what we have here is a certain hardware failure then yes Linux might crash also. So since you don't have a spare mobo or memory to swap we have to continue testing with what we have.

I attempted to use Linux for a while, but nothing worked. After switching my mouse and keyboard to the USB 2.0 ports on the motherboard, the BSOD disappeared temporarily. The computer ran for several days without crashing, unlike before when it usually stopped after just one day of inactivity. I’m not sure what’s causing this problem, and I might need to buy a new PC to avoid dealing with it further. Merry Christmas!

You're asking whether the motherboard is likely the issue based on the USB port changes. It seems reasonable to suspect it, but further testing might be needed to confirm.
