Not sure. Several elements come to mind—when the pandemic improves, when firms can produce GPUs efficiently, and when resellers pass away. Likely there are many more factors involved.

When the upcoming GPU lineup arrives, it's not just about the latest models, but specifically the 3000 series.

worse than ever before, it might take longer to recover or stocks could drop too much over time; then prices might need to change. but i’d say the best deals are probably gone forever, unless you’re willing to wait a while.

I think it'll be another couple of years before markets stabilize. Getting many people vaccinated globally will be a slow process. The truth is GPU systems are intricate, involving numerous components from the minerals extracted all the way to the designers. There are many links in the supply chain, and any breakdown can lead to serious issues. Another point is cryptocurrency miners and bot networks. If crypto mining became less lucrative, it would significantly impact things because a large number of rigs—like one with 87 3090s earning over $100k annually—would sell off rapidly. Markets might try to restrict how many GPUs an individual can buy by adding verification steps such as account creation, phone/email checks, and making it harder to create fake accounts. This could also affect scammers who attempt to dominate the supply.
