I own an H410M motherboard and am unsure which RAM slot to use for my 8GB DDR4 2666MHz stick. Should I choose DDR4_1 or DDR4_2? The difference might not be significant. This is because my PC is struggling with Warzone performance, so I want to resolve any problems. My system specs include an i3-10100F CPU, Asus 1660 Super OC GPU, and a Corsair CV650 power supply.

The top choice for a two-slot setup is on the left side.

It doesn't matter where you place it. Adding another stick would likely make a big difference.

It doesn't matter which one you choose; either DDR4_1 or DDR4_2 will function.

In practice, the slot nearest the CPU socket tends to be more reliable for 2-slot setups. However, because you're not making extreme overclocking where small differences matter, either slot works just fine.

I understand your PC setup should handle Warzone smoothly at 1080p medium with 100fps, but it’s not meeting that goal. It seems the performance drops due to frame rate issues and stuttering. If you're using Teamspeak and GeForce, your lightweight Windows might be limiting resource allocation. Consider checking GPU settings, updating drivers, or upgrading hardware if needed.

Are you adding more storage space? If you already have just one drive, obtain another identical one. This will help your device perform more smoothly with games.
