They seem to feel they deserve special treatment since they mentioned it's fine. The real issue is whether there’s a limit on bandwidth and what that means for you.

They don't automatically get a specific data allowance unless the agreement says otherwise. That said, it's hard to give a definite answer because it varies by service and network load. Some platforms limit you to around 2MB or less, while others can deliver much more depending on the moment—such as during YouTube congestion, where a real cap exists.

Absolutely, you'd need to verify each service individually before relying on the data. It seems these platforms often have limits, which already reflects high energy consumption. I personally don’t support such services, especially Google—its environmental footprint is significant and it’s becoming less reliable. A replacement might not be a better option, but they’re clearly oversized for everyone’s needs.
