Hello once more, I looked a bit and it looks like Debian offers a way to start an install within Windows! That likely accounts for the .EXE files. Check StackOverflow... The latest SteamOS versions are built on Arch and KDE Plasma. This appears to be SteamOS 2.0, which is based on Debian and GNOME.

If they want another copy of SteamOS, I’m glad to help them too. I’m not sure how to tell them about it, but I’d be happy to show them my tech folder, which contains a mix of old and new tools from the late 2000s to now.
