For my special day I received an RX 6500 XT and everyone is guessing what you were thinking. Actually, I had previously purchased a basic graphics card (GTX 750 TI 2GB) just to enjoy Modded GTA. This new GPU was a massive upgrade, and I aimed to test Steam VR with it. I was let down by the persistent black screen and lack of progress. After months of searching, a developer named @Ev1lbl0w shared guidance on using ALVR with an RX 6500 XT. Now, with a capable CPU handling video encoding, ALVR works smoothly via a wired connection—much better than wireless for my setup.
