Every time I launch the game, it doesn't appear but the audio continues. I've tried several solutions linked in this thread: adjusting monitor settings to 60hz or 59hz (down from 75hz), using the CRU app, enabling compatibility mode for RE4 and running as admin, using Steam as an administrator, trying the Special K method—which seems inefficient compared to what I've faced—plus tweaking the RE4 plugin settings. Your system specs are: Ryzen 5800X, 5700XT GPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Windows 10 64-bit, 75hz, 1920x1080 monitor.
I've read a lot about this game, I'm also a big fan of older titles, but I haven't actually played it yet. I've received the HD version stuff, but I haven't really installed the mods yet... it feels a bit frustrating, and I have other games or mods to enjoy. The main issue here is your monitor settings. What value are you using for the refresh rate? Are you setting it to 59 or 60 Hz? And how did you change it? I just want to be sure it's actually running at 60 Hz. Also, have you tried a lower setting like 30 Hz? I need to check that. There seems to be some confusion about the vanilla Steam version and FPS/hz details. It might also help if you installed the mod incorrectly, but I think you probably don't need it at all. I'll post again later once I remember more, because I don't really recall the details anymore. Capcom games are still fun! Edit: it looks like the developer says you don't need this mod if your monitor is set to 60 Hz. You should verify that in your driver or Windows settings, and confirm there are no other mods interfering.
