Steam Store Summer Fun Highlighted and Clarified #UPDATED!
Time has changed! We're now on day 5, and blue is in the lead with 600k points. It seems impossible for any other team to catch up! I realize now that I was correct all along. Honestly, I feel a bit unfair but also satisfied. Feeling unfair comes from the fact that buying cards only costs money for the 30 users who receive three games, three top wishlist items, and yes, I understand why. On the other hand, I feel satisfied because everyone has an equal chance to win. In fact, all teams will end up winning twice overall. The only thing that bothers me is how the Steam system works—it's misleading in some ways. But still, no one loses, and you as a buyer can sell those cards during special sales for extra profit. That seems fair, right? Anyway, I plan to make a video today about this because many users aren't aware of it. If you think I should create one, just leave a comment saying yes. Today I was closely observing the Steam Summer Adventure and discovered some details about how the system functions over the past three days. On day 1, Red didn't perform well, while other teams did better—Red ended up last. Purple won that day, and I thought this reflected a fair system since they accumulated the most points. I let it slide. Purple also outperformed with over 85,000 points, which isn't a huge difference considering how many cards users are purchasing. On day 2, Red suddenly faded away to face Purple, and they emerged victorious. It's odd that Red didn't put in much effort initially. The decision to go all-in seemed sudden, and I don't believe it was a strategic move. Day 3 showed Green struggling like the others, and they also jumped into a 200,000-point push. It's confusing why they did that—especially since they already had a strong lead. Now I've explained these events, and it's clear that every team will eventually win at least once. Steam randomly selects teams to start, which explains the outcomes. Why do you think this is happening? What are your thoughts?
