Steam is forcing its mobile authenticator onto everyone, which is really frustrating. I stopped using it for trading because it slowed down my phone—like, seriously slow. It took 15 minutes just to load and confirm trades or sell items. They should stick to the old way with just email confirmations or make a big red message saying if you don’t have Steam Mobile Authenticator active, don’t trade. I’m not mad, I just want to avoid this hassle. I made over $800 last year on the Steam market, but now I’m stuck with this annoying setup. Sorry for the rant, there should be a dedicated forum for this.

Well, if you earned $800 last year by trading virtual goods, you should definitely enable mobile authentication—trust me!

Steam is quite disappointing, but it's the least bad option right now.

I prefer not to show off my Steam account or the earnings I generate. My performance is satisfactory, and I don’t feel the need for extra recognition.

Steam isn't terrible—it's just a poorly designed front that pretends to be a digital distribution platform.

Show off your hard-earned money, Texan. You earned it.

I heard about something strange with two friends lately. It felt like it was connected to a chance event. While playing a game that lets you use items, they got a cool thing but then suddenly lost access—like it was hacked.

Is there a chance you're thinking of Team Fortress 2?
