For instance, I purchased the key and reported it to Steam claiming it was stolen. If I activate it, it becomes risky to buy from G2A because the key won’t function properly.

G2A is genuine, similar to eBay for certain games. You shouldn't be concerned about their sales; they often come from countries with lower prices and sell them at reduced rates. Many users have had no issues with it.
