In short, I’m using a Raspberry Pi with the Steam Link app to stream games directly to my TV. Since my internet isn’t fast enough for wireless streaming, I’ve linked it via an Ethernet cable straight from my PC. Because the connection uses a Cat5e cable, I expect minimal latency and no compression issues, though playing racing games is still tough. If you want, I can send photos of my current rig.

Your Raspberry Pi seems to struggle when handling video decoding directly from the computer. I noticed this with my Android TV stick using Steam Link—games like NFS Heat, CarX Drift Racing, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and Shadow of War ran smoothly without any noticeable delay.

Thanks for the guidance, I’ll switch to a separate power adapter since it’s connected through the TV USB port.

It isn't clear which Raspberry Pi model you're using, but this setup seems to raise some concerns, particularly with the 4 version.
