Hi all, I've been checking out the Steam Link and thinking about pre-ordering. I'm considering it for a few reasons: the bonus games I like, the ability to play my Steam titles anywhere in my home, and the interface is pretty nice. Could you share your thoughts? Is it worth £40 (UK price)? And are you planning to buy it? Check out the link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/353380

Are you sure you'll actually use your Steam account for your gaming setup? Your TV is a good example—think about it carefully if you aim to play competitively in multiplayer. The input lag is typically around 20-30ms, so keep that in mind. There are already many reviews available online; just check them and decide on your own.

I also placed an order for myself and my dad since my dad loves consoles. I wanted to demonstrate the power of the PC Master Race and experience gaming at 1080p with 60 frames per second in top settings. From what I read, most reviews are positive—latency stays around 30ms, and you get smooth 60fps 1080p performance, which is significantly better than anything else out there.
