Steam is not recognized by GTA V after reinstalling Windows?
I store my games in the D drive. Before reinstalling Windows, I moved the GTA V folder to a different location. After reinstalling Windows, I install Steam and then return GTA V to the default folder. When I start Steam, GTA V isn’t being downloaded or installed. Should I initiate the install process within Steam to allow it to recognize the game, or is there another solution?
Shift the game’s primary folder to its current location. Your system is set up to track every file's address, but this configuration resets after installing a new version of Windows, frequently requiring program reinstallation as well. Steam is an unusual case; it can be easily redirected, however, you should typically only need to right-click the game and adjust the folder where local files are stored. If you neglected to relocate any files during the reinstallation process, reinstalling the game itself might be necessary.
Cherish affection carefully, my companion. 😆
Spread it broadly if possible!
