The situation you're facing is quite common. With the local area covenant limiting internet options, many residents rely on 4G home connections that offer very slow speeds—often around 1mbps up and 25mbps down. This results in frequent crashes during gameplay, and even after re-downloading files, validation issues persist. It's worth checking if others have encountered the same problem and discovered solutions. Cheers!

For reference, the only service we may use a wired connection with charges of $149 per month for 50 down and 10 up, and it is well known for being inconsistent.

Step one involves understanding the cause. 4G operates via a cellphone network, meaning antennas and other components are involved. Possible issues could include interference or broadcast problems. I’d raise a complaint directly to the carrier, who might address it themselves. A recent example is a cross-shaped antenna installed in a local church steeple by a carrier. Learning the reason behind such actions could be helpful, as it might influence how the landlord responds. He could even offer assistance if his motivations align with the situation. It might be tied to a contract, and depending on the outcome, he could provide support. Updated May 29, 2023 by Bombastinator

Absolutely, you're noticing something unusual. It seems the same files keep causing issues across different systems and even across platforms like Steam and Epic. It's strange that no matter the hardware—Intel, AMD, Nvidia, Radeon—or whether you're using a stable PC or not—the problems persist. It's also happening with games that don't have built-in file validation. The only thing connecting these setups is the internet connection, which seems to be the culprit.

It depends on the issue you're experiencing. Turning "offline mode" on in Steam settings might resolve some problems, but not all. Check if the setting affects your specific problem.
