steam game sharing
Hi, I understand you and your wife wanted to try Baldur's Gate 3 in co-op mode. Since you both would need to purchase the game on Steam, the total cost would be around £100. You asked if there’s a way to play co-op without buying two copies each time. I found that some games list remote play together on their Steam store pages, while others don’t have this feature enabled by default. It seems it depends on the developer’s settings or the game’s configuration.
that's local co-op, that was developer-verified to work trough remote play together.
There are splitscreen co-op options available, though I’m not sure about using them right now because my setup isn’t ideal. I’d prefer to connect with friends using our own devices and set up a local connection instead of relying on the shared screen feature. I’m not certain it would work smoothly.
Shame Roccat ceased production, but couch keyboards are available. Other manufacturers now offer options. You can also employ various unique controllers for different inputs. This is how I and my friends enjoy gaming. One plays with a keyboard, while the others use three controllers.
