The steam version of Final Fantasy X and X-2 is not a port for PS3 or PS4; it’s available on PC via Steam.

The PS3/PS4 editions are essentially the same high-definition remaster. The original was designed for the PS2. The Steam release is the HD remastered edition, but it includes choices to access the original PS2 audio and voice tracks or the HD remaster content.

the game appears great in 4k resolution, honestly it’s a bit surprising I just finished the blitzball tournament on the ps4. Now I have to switch to the pc version since I can’t skip playing at that quality. I probably missed a few albhed primers after all, though!

It’s clearly the PS4 release with enhanced visuals and trainers—previously, my PS3 copy of FFX/X-2 HD looked nothing like this.

Additionally, there are in-game adjustments and hacks absent from the original PS3/4 release to accelerate combat, modify encounter frequency, and more. Useful tricks.
