You're facing an issue where your GTA 5 on Rockstar launcher isn't supporting Xbox One controllers. It seems the game is marked as non-Steam, which prevents controller compatibility. You might need to enable Steam support for the game or try using a different launcher that allows controller input. Let me know if you need further help!

The file name should read PlayGTAV.exe, not GTAV.exe.

The only option is the final program. No other programs are available when scrolling down to P.

Is the "Browse" option visible? It allows you to select applications beyond the predefined list in that menu.

Did you review the properties area to confirm steam is directing to the right executable? If not, update it to point to the correct file so it runs properly. When it correctly points, verify the installation location—ensure the file exists; if missing, consider repairing the setup (if applicable) to resolve any issues.

Absolutely, that's a fair point. Steam tends to focus mainly on its own titles, and GTA V is no exception in that regard.

Yes, I can find the game in GTA V and it appears. However, you’ll need to purchase it again since you already bought it on Rockstar’s store. Are you asking about that?

The details seem accurate for @demonix00. The section mentions PlayGTAV.

I was using the other browse option, but it now functions properly. GTA5 worked after I clicked that button. It had issues loading before, but the Rockstar launcher started automatically now. Appreciate your assistance!

It seems strange since the properties appeared accurate at first glance. I recall facing similar issues before and therefore devised a new shortcut.
