I've been using CS-GO a lot lately and found that the win 10 game bar isn't available in any of my Steam games. When trying to open them via the Xbox app, only the Steam program appears instead of the actual games. I'm curious if the game bar functions with Steam games—can you record a video with Win+Alt+R? I'm not sure when it begins or ends.

Hey man, I was trying to figure out the same thing. Found a temporary solution. If you change the video settings of the game you're playing to windowed or borderless, and then hit Win+G, it should prompt you with "Do you want to open game bar?" to which you can select "Yes, this is a game." The prompt doesn't seem to pop up if you're in fullscreen mode though. Hope that helps!
