I didn’t notice what I was clicking on and ended up on a site that looked identical to the Steam community page, but it wasn’t. I filled in my information, and soon I was asked to provide a family view pin that the hacker might have added to my account—though it seems he hasn’t updated the password yet. I’m unable to change it because I no longer have the ability. I reached out to Steam support with proof of ownership, but I’m unsure if they can recover my account or if I should be wasting time. Additionally, I can’t access any games or inventory items. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.
