I recently started working on my deck to replace the thermal paste. At first it would blink and wouldn’t turn on, so I left it to charge overnight and it worked fine. Now, even with the charger connected, it never goes above 4%. If the deck is completely off without the charger, it blinks three times until you reconnect it. People have told me the battery connector might be loose, but I’m certain it’s secure. Please let me know if you need any advice!

It seems like the battery is probably dead, possibly due to a short circuit from disassembling the machine. Or maybe the act of taking it apart triggered a fault that drained the power. Try this guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/how-to-check-b...team-deck/ If it’s not working, give it another shot.

I find discussions about thermal paste annoying. People often try to inspect or replace it on items that aren’t meant for maintenance. Perhaps disassemble it again and reassemble it more carefully? I’m hoping this will be a quick fix. I’m not sure, but I can’t imagine how you managed to damage the battery.

I understood the need since it mentioned boosting the lows. Definitely a mistake, but at this stage it's been increasing for three hours and dropped from 4% to 7%.
