Samsung's messaging app 'Just works' without issues. If bubbles are what keep you afloat, then it's fine. You can find it on Android thanks to customization tools. The S8 and iPhone 7 share similar camera features. It wouldn't be wise to jailbreak them, though. Updating is important; otherwise your phone might run slower. Choosing Apple comes with risks.

Additionally, the iPhone X seems to perform more slowly compared to Android devices available this year.

native apps are superior to third-party ones, as I've noticed. All the messaging apps I've tried drain more battery than iOS's built-in messaging feature. People usually don't care much about cameras; they just want reliable performance. You don't use your phone for taking stunning photos—use it for everyday moments like family pictures outside. Even the 5-second camera works fine for that. Jailbreaking can be fun and safe if you follow these tips: avoid risky tweaks, install only what you need, and don't mess with iFile—using filza is better. Don't let it delete folders or slow your phone down. Are you planning to add animations?

Yes, you're right about the optimizations being missing if you don't update your iPhone. Apple really focuses on keeping devices safe for kids and non-technical users. No need to jailbreak just to enjoy these features!

My top reasons to stay with Android revolve around its navigation features—like the back button, home button, and recent apps button positioned conveniently at the bottom, along with a customizable layout. The headphone jack is another plus, as well as the flexibility to arrange my apps wherever I like, not just limited to folders or new pages. I’d suggest checking out the LG V30 for its sleek display, compact bezels, solid cameras, and an integrated DAC. The S8/S8 Plus/Note 8 are also excellent choices, and the Pixel 2 looks promising once it launches.
