This game is likely one of the most disappointing scams in gaming history, and I believe they deserve to face serious consequences for creating such a low-quality product and selling it in such large numbers. That person is truly malicious.

this raises some questions... did hello games completely replace the previous versions that the media industry had been promoting? or are those early releases merely prototypes, similar to the E3 demos from companies like Ubisoft? I’ve seen people who studied the final product and noticed a lot of removed content. It seems like they might have had two different versions, dropping the one everyone expected at launch. It’s hard to believe a small development team would act this way. Or maybe they focused on trimming as much as possible before release, knowing it would be too flawed. Still, it doesn’t make sense given how much time and effort went into creating this game over three to four years. The final cut still has performance problems. Sony might be the one pushing the process... they can be a difficult person sometimes, but that’s what I think.

The demonstrations likely didn't fully capture the game's true functionality. They probably featured excessive scripting, were tested on powerful computers, and were trimmed down to highlight only what would appear on screen. This approach aimed to guarantee smooth performance. Always remain cautious about such showcases, regardless of the developer or publisher. When the sole information comes from the company promoting the game, they tend to present it favorably. These events are mainly designed to generate excitement and maintain interest.

Yeah, it seems obvious. Everyone relied heavily on the buzz, particularly around NMS. I came across an article explaining how developers prepare their game for E3, revealing a meticulous and intricate process—so much so it feels unreal... probably what Hello Games dedicated about 90% of their time to... It still puzzles me why they went through all that effort just to maintain the hype, and even more so that they might have profited from it. Sony’s treating PS4 players worse just to get a refund adds to the suspicion.
