Consider using Linux Mint or Ubuntu, as they generally have good driver compatibility.

So far on Linux I have no issues. But how can I remove them from Windows? The problem is that they are irregular and sometimes completely missing for a long time. What's odd is that something appears to be blocking me from creating a bootable USB drive on Linux.

It might be related to a USB port or USB drive problem. When using Windows, which antivirus are you employing? To ensure the issue affects several browsers, we should identify the one that impacts more than one.

Usually I rely on Norton Internet Security, but I removed it to use only the built-in version and it didn't make any difference.

Are there any other options besides Defender? Which browser extensions or add-ons do you typically use? I expect a fresh Windows setup will be the way forward to tidy everything up.

I experienced a break while in the hospital. I had the necessary plugins installed, and everything proceeded smoothly. Edge Translate IDM, Internet Download Manager (IDM), purchased in 2015, Dashlane (paid version), and uBlock Origin were all functional.

Hope you're recovering well.
For testing, consider removing or uninstalling IDM and uBlock Origin, and if possible, back up your saved credentials for Dashlane.
Currently, the necessity of IDM is largely irrelevant. I rely on uBlock Origin and Ghostery across all my browsers without any issues.

I manage 1,500 passwords (often around 300) for work at IBM, since I frequently download and analyze videos from Facebook. To date, I haven’t experienced any issues, and IDM has been with me since 2015. Dashlane replaced the compromised LastPass, which I had for five years. These plugins aren’t available on all browsers, and they consistently trigger errors, often causing them to close more frequently. Without these tools, the browser problems won’t affect my ability to perform my job.

I don’t have these plugins installed across all browsers, and they all display this error increasingly often. Without them, the issues remain manageable because I won’t be able to complete my tasks. My main activities involve reading information and news. Recently, I’ve noticed the closures happen most often when I write comments on articles, especially while using translation tools and streaming videos. For instance, when uploading text to a company server or commenting on news sites, I also create memes as part of my work. Observing this pattern, I’ve encountered a similar problem at some point. I sometimes join online conferences from work.

Unfortunately, I’m not the only one facing this issue. Many others on the internet have experienced it before. In my case, it appeared suddenly. I don’t recall the exact moment or details, as I was very busy then. I tried to resolve it myself and waited a while.

Regarding package temperature in IETU software when browsers slow down, the temperature rises to 100 degrees Celsius, whereas other programs do not display this change.

I tried various methods for weeks without success. Finally, I found a genuine fix. My machine is an i9 14900K. I stopped AI overclocking and kept the default settings, but changing the first two Performance cores from 60 to 57 completely resolved the issue. After a few days, I moved those two cores up to 58 and still had no further problems. I did this using Intel XTU, though it's possible to do it in BIOS as well. I only adjusted the first core and left the others unchanged.

And do you have a board? I used to have an Asus one a while back, where I set XMP1 and chose the default for Intel. I also have the most recent BIOS update. My processor was originally x53 by default, but I changed it to x51, which is Intel 13700kf.
