Hello everyone, please accept my apologies for my grammar, as English isn't my first language. I just ordered my first PC, and the first thing that came out was the case itself—a Corsair 4000d Airflow. I took it out of the box to check it out on a carpeted floor. After opening it, I inspected everything inside, closed it up, and put it back in the box. When I picked it up, I was surprised because I hadn't placed any of my delivered parts in there, fearing the case might damage them. Should I be concerned? Is this something I should worry about? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The PC case is safe for continued assembly. You're probably overthinking things. Avoid building on carpet because it can generate static electricity. Contemporary parts handle static well and release it easily. I usually assemble my PC in the kitchen since I can touch the grounded tap there, which helps me discharge periodically. About every 20 minutes or so, if the build is slow, it's a good idea.

Static builds up easily in dry conditions. Surrounding surfaces such as carpet and packaging materials can help create it. This won’t affect the case directly. For parts, extra care is necessary to prevent it.
