Hey, can someone assist me? Why do I experience delays when starting my PC? It takes around 5 minutes or longer for Windows to boot. I have a 512GB SSD, but I don’t understand why this is happening. I tried enabling fast boot in the settings, but it didn’t help.

The boot process took a long time. If multiple drives or partitions are involved, it might be because the device is searching for a Windows copy in an unexpected location. Your message doesn’t include system details, making it difficult to diagnose further.

You have a 2TB HDD, a 512GB SSD, a Ryzen 9 3900X CPU, an RTX 2070 GPU, 16GB of dual RAM, and a Super Micro Trio motherboard.

The idea comes to me strongly only if your drive has many partitions.

I didn't encounter the problem. I found some users who opened regedit, searched for something I missed, and resolved it. However, I don’t have the exact cause—I believe it might be related to AMD graphics.

Regedit can be risky if you're not careful—it might cause major issues on your system, even with small mistakes. The boot time is also slow, which is a problem with solid-state drives.

It seems you're feeling uncertain about what to do. Take a deep breath and consider taking small steps toward your goals.

Might be worth checking drive health. Probably not a problem but if a drive is nearly dead sometimes it can do things like this. If drive health is fine all I got is a reinstall because there’s something broken somewhere and reset to default might help. It’s a knuckle dragger solution though. Someone else will likely have something better. Maybe wait for better advice.

I've already looked into it. It might be related to CSM. That setting is turned on on my motherboard, and without it, the system doesn't recognize my SSD or hard drive.

CSM?! This seems like outdated legacy information, almost like old-school stuff. Why would it be useful? What’s the age of this drive? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unified_...SM_booting
