Hi everyone, I've realized Chrome no longer meets my needs in its current version. Now I'm considering switching to another browser—do you think Opera or Firefox would be better options? Both seem promising, though I haven't tested their latest updates much yet. As a big YouTube user, I don’t want to use Adobe Flash, so I’ve stayed with Chrome because it’s the only one besides IE that supports full HD+ videos via H.264 decoder. In a new browser, I found that playing videos with VLC is the best solution. However, I encountered an issue: when opening a video, it streams at 720p even though YouTube offers higher resolution. I changed the preferred resolution in settings, but it didn’t help. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks!

Opera is a solid option. I rely on it.
