I'm just getting started with building computers, though I managed to assemble the first PC myself. I'm putting together a build using old components and have an i5-3330. I'm unsure which operating system fits well with it.

Windows 10 remains compatible for another year and beyond. After downloading Rufus, you can create a USB installer for Windows 11 that avoids the TPM verification, ensuring smooth installation.

It all comes down to your specific needs. Are you planning to use the PC for a particular task?

Windows 10 works fine with a standard install if you enable secure boot and TPM checks, but I’d avoid it since it’s larger than 10 and could strain an older processor. Wait until Windows 10 reaches its end-of-life before moving to 11.
