You recently purchased an iPod Classic and started using it. You created an iTunes account and uploaded around 200 MP3 files. When you try to add more songs gradually, some of the existing ones seem to vanish. This might be due to how your device syncs or manages files—check your iTunes settings for storage limits or sync preferences.

When the iPod is linked to another account, it will update its data using the PC's information (likely for clarity)

It seems you're facing an issue where adding a few songs forces a full replacement of your library on the iPod. The sync process ends up with fewer tracks than expected because of how the system handles additions. That makes sense.

When using the same library, it maintains the 72 setting, though I don’t recall it clearly from those iPod shuffle sessions.
