I experienced similar issues with two Chrome-based browsers (Chrome and Torch) that work normally otherwise. When opening certain media apps like VLC or WhatsApp Web, the browsers would stutter or lag intermittently. Other applications such as Windows Media Player and Steam Client didn’t show any problems. Microsoft Edge was unaffected. The problem began after the 1903 update. Have you encountered this before? Any suggestions? Also, I ran the sfc/scannow command via CMD but didn’t find a solution. All minor Windows updates since 1903 have been installed, and my graphics drivers are current. It’s unclear what’s causing the lag.
