Hey there, I’ve shortlisted two motherboards for my first PC build and wanted some expert tips. I’m considering the MSI B450M MORTAR MAX and the ASUS B450 TUF PRO GAMING—though I know they’re ATX versus MATX. What do you think would be the best choice based on VRMs, cooling, features, and overall quality? Thanks a lot!

I’d pick the MSI Mortar without hesitation. Though I’m not a VRM specialist, it’s frequently praised as one of the top B450 boards, and its diverse I/O connections stand out compared to the TUF—especially with that handy flash BIOS button on the external ports!
