PC isn’t turning on properly. It’s been this way for a month without any changes. When I power it up, fans and lights activate but the keyboard, mouse, and monitor stay off. Pressing the power button again doesn’t fix it, and after three tries it boots normally. It works when running tests, but it shuts down if it overheats. It seems to function once it warms up, then resets overnight.

You'll need to wait until tomorrow to test, as the system is running normally now. What might the RAM do?

It could appear inaccurate if set too high; the Xmp profile might need to be turned off.

Remaining neutral, the statement about no changes is usually inaccurate. Over the past month at least a Windows update was released. Updates to Windows often modify functionality, so it’s important to verify other hardware components as well—like drivers—to confirm everything runs smoothly. Since you didn’t specify system details, there could be BIOS updates for Intel or AMD that need attention alongside newer Windows releases.

Windows hasn’t been updated yet, even though I don’t enable automatic updates and I’m still using version 10. It seems to work differently depending on the time of day—sometimes it fails in the morning but boots normally at night, and after three attempts it works in the morning. It looks like there might be an issue when it’s running.

It seems like the PSU is failing you.
