I want to make it clear that I have three Ryzen configurations with PS/2 ports, which shows I’m familiar with the situation. Although these connectors aren’t very durable, the PS/2 devices that introduced them were only made for about a decade. They weren’t around for long, but definitely not twenty years. That’s exactly what I meant.
Ah - OK. Gotcha on the machines part. I'm referring to the fact the standard is still being used 20 years later, even if in limited fashion. In some ways it still has it's place and as long as it's useful to someone it's fine.
