Start Windows 11 version 25H2 directly from the desktop without entering a password.
I recently switched to Windows 11 because support for Windows 10 ended. I need to configure it so it launches directly to the desktop without showing the login screen, just like other computers. However, I don’t have access to the “users must enter username and password” checkbox. Is there another method to achieve this? Could you bring back that option or find an alternative solution? I installed Windows 11 after the online installation warning and used a workaround from YouTube, but it’s no longer available in my history. Help needed!
Navigate to the registry path and adjust the specified key. Ensure the value is set to 0, then restart the system to apply changes.
I’ve relied on this resource before. It functions even after upgrading to 25H2, though I haven’t tested it on a brand-new installation.
