Typically the problem lies with the driver. You can also test the sleep feature by executing the following command in the command prompt with administrator privileges: cd\ powercfg -energy. The report file is located at C:\ drive/energy-report.html. Double-click it to view the details. If you see yellow boxes, they don't necessarily indicate an issue.
