After upgrading to Windows 10, I noticed many applications didn’t work well or were hard to use. I chose a clean install and also planned to switch my SSD to GPT for UEFI support. The process of restoring my Start Menu setup took about half an hour, so I’d like to revert it. I created backups of my system and files, including the ability to mount virtual drives in Windows 10. Do you know where the Start Menu layout is stored? Is it saved somewhere specific or in the registry?

No, only a folder called Programs exists. The IKB desktop.ini file is present too. I'm excluding the start menu programs, just focusing on Win8-style apps on the right side.
