Starfield is the inaugural universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, known for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4. This next-gen role-playing game takes place in space, letting you craft any character and explore with complete freedom as you begin... bethesda.net

It might not be as terrible as the waste other businesses are generating.

Todd: Hold my beer...
Skyrim - issues at launch
Fallout 3 - still buggy at launch
Fallout 76 - likely still buggy
Their history in recent titles reveals a pattern. I won't overlook it.
Not every game is a mess this year, especially the big ones. They focus more on mobile than PC.
Age of Wonders 4 looks decent, but Paradox usually delivers quality.

I wouldn't even mention that the notion of many upcoming games being disappointing is true, but the quality and stability are definitely not. These titles often reach the 95% mark and the developers just release them without much effort. Among my last three purchases, I had to return two because of the engine's poor performance. It's disappointing when a game you enjoy is released with such a weak foundation.
