Starfield: Version - Available on Microsoft Store and Xbox PC App. Operating system: Windows 11, 11900k, 3090, z590-e, 64GB RAM, 990Pro OS drive, 980Pro storage drives. I’ve struggled to get the Creation Club for the Xbox PC app version of Starfield. I reached out to Bethesda support and followed all their procedures. No forum thread has offered a solution. Most discussions seem focused on broader issues, but the Xbox console itself doesn’t help. I’ve seen answers posted since July 3, 2024, but none resolved the problem. Here’s a link to a relevant post: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/xbox...cf0bbd3848.

I’ve tested updates for the game, graphics card, and operating system, yet it still doesn’t work. I own the Xbox PC app version, along with GamePass, and the game functions normally otherwise. Creation Club appears, but clicking it triggers a connection error. Even the main title bar displays the issue. I’m certain my PC is up-to-date—Windows 11, all drivers fresh, no problems with Fallout 4, Skyrim, or other titles. The Steam version on Win 11 works, and streaming via x-cloud is possible. My Windows 10 PC accesses it too. An Xbox Series X supports it as well. No other similar issues have been reported.

I’ve tried several fixes: disabling Windows Firewall, turning off Windows Defender, resetting the router/network, reinstalling the game and its store, repairing Windows, reinstalling the app, changing storage drives, clearing temp files, refreshing DNS, using Safe Boot with admin rights, and checking for optional updates. I’ve also attempted different installation methods and even removed the app data cache. Running the OS fresh feels like a last resort—maybe it’s time to replace the PC.
