I've recently experienced another Star Wars bug. I've been a fan since seeing A New Hope at six years old. Now, twenty years later, I'm revisiting all the movies, giving The Clone Wars and Rebels a try (they're actually decent) and finally playing Republic Commando. That game is incredibly enjoyable. Usually, when I play it, I type "Imperial Commando" into Google and discover some intriguing leaks. It seems we might finally see it come. I'm curious about the approach they'll take—will it be a standalone title or part of the Campaign for Battlefront 2? Honestly, I'd prefer the latter. Battlefront isn't terrible overall, but it feels lacking in content and too focused on expensive DLCs. I believe EA and DICE could improve things by releasing a remastered Republic Commando and possibly selling the original campaign. What are your thoughts?
It doesn’t seem connected to battlefront; I’d expect a solid story-driven campaign instead.
