Star Wars Battlefront gets a solid 7 out of 10. The positives include its engaging storyline, immersive world-building, and strong character development. Players appreciate the deep lore and the way it blends action with narrative depth.
The negatives often center around repetitive gameplay loops, occasional bugs, and a lack of new content after the initial release. Some find the combat mechanics a bit clunky, and the pacing can feel uneven at times.
It's a pretty relaxed experience, easy to pick up and go. Similar to CoD in style. You don’t need much skill to enjoy it. The car controls are decent, though the vehicle handling isn’t great. The weapon setup is decent, but there aren’t many maps—just a few big ones. Firepower works well, with plenty of bullet range thanks to the Star Wars theme. Taking on targets is straightforward. The rifles are very precise, even when mounted low. You can eliminate enemies quickly. Overall, it runs for a while, which is typical for this type of game.
The only positive aspect is the visual appeal, in my view. It performs poorly in every other area.
They mentioned it again in a similar way. Would you like a bit more detail?
It's a solid 5 overall for games, with a strong 8 for FPS. I don't really like FPS games, but I do enjoy Battlefield.
Imo 3/10 Pro's: Visuals and audio are really great; Gameplay is okay. Con's: Little content, not much action, weak vehicular combat, no hero mode, no singleplayer, basic StarCard system that makes you feel weak early on, no dedicated servers, some maps have issues like choke points or spots that require direct line of sight to AT-ATs, etc. Spamming is a problem. Imo: Without the Star Wars license, this game would probably never get talked about anymore...
Tb delivers it much more effectively than any forum comment could.
I believe this clarifies why I keep getting stuck: after two months, the frustration remains. Cheaters still mess with gameplay, team balance is missing, and there’s no improvement in gameplay or HUD. The player limit stays at 40, and matchmaking is consistently problematic—even in Italy, my connection drops to slow speeds. It feels like the server is empty, making it nearly impossible to find a match. Despite the great graphics and Star Wars vibes, the overall experience is disappointing.
