Rail is right. You'll achieve more stable results close to the same performance with a 980ti, and you won't need to limit the overclock to the weaker card.

One 980Ti unit works well too. For a slightly higher budget, you can find a 480GB SSD around $140. The RAM option is a bit expensive, but 1333 or 1600MHz would be more cost-effective since RAM speed doesn’t significantly impact gaming performance.
