Star Citizen: Journey from Beginner to Planet - PG showcase
It seems Star Citizen is losing some of its appeal compared to titles like Elite: Dangerous and Space Engineers, particularly in how they handle gameplay. Right now, the game focuses heavily on its graphics—showcasing impressive visuals, construction mechanics, and destruction effects—but those elements alone aren't enough to keep it standing against more polished competitors.
In terms of performance and potential gameplay depth, the alternatives fall short. Features like multicrew, FPS, or ships are more refined than Elite's "mile wide and inch deep" elements, and they exist in the base game rather than as a paid add-on. The single-player campaign stands out, as no major space title offers it.
though, but not SE. Seriously, that game needs better fixes and improvements. The planets look like big asteroids and they need more work—really. I can't even cut down a tree! It's still a nice touch, but they should focus on fixing bugs and performance issues.

The experience is entirely unique for both of us! "Elite" really stands out to me, but I didn't find "SE" engaging enough to write an honest review. I'm tired of games built solely on repetitive tasks. It seems someone else's work makes a game less captivating just because it came first. Don't misunderstand, I'm frustrated with waiting times, but I still play regularly and enjoy every moment. Seeing a game change daily is impressive—some voice acting already impresses, and the transition from bed to spaceship feels natural without breaking immersion.
