Sure, it's been roughly a month since I first set up SC after all the updates. It seems like it's been consuming a lot of space—starting with a 500 gig HDD that was taking up around 250 gig and now it's down to about 75. It looks like I might need another hard drive just for SC.

I haven't downloaded the game yet, but are you certain there aren't any older patch installers hidden in the folder?

SC sometimes struggles to remember earlier installations during updates. The safest approach is to clear it every few major releases, remove the entire SC directory from Program Files, and begin with a clean install. This is particularly useful now that a completely new launcher was released last week.

This folder would be located in the default directory specified by your system settings.

I'm currently working and can't see the installation location. It seems you might have customized the path instead of using the standard one. Remember, in the past it was typically in your My Documents folder. Look through your Program Files folders for "Cloud Imperium" or "Star Citizen." It could also be at the root of your drive (root = c:/).

The previous version was labeled '...Star citizen' while the latest update suggested removing old files and beginning anew. My installation is at 25.2GB, but once completed it will be a massive game. There were earlier estimates of 100GB, but those were just rough ideas and may change as development progresses. I expect the size to increase noticeably with the new social module and AC 2.0.
