Standard Excel configuration?
Standard Excel configuration?
I understand you're having trouble with Excel 2010 opening new workbooks in landscape or legal mode instead of portrait or letter. Let me try to help you figure this out. Have you checked the Excel settings before launching a new file? Sometimes adjusting the default orientation in the application settings can resolve this issue. If you're still stuck, you might need to reset the workbook's orientation settings or consult the Excel help center for more guidance. Feel free to share what you try!
Usually with Microsoft, making things too simple is a no-go. Here’s the guide you mentioned: http://superuser.com/questions/315662/ho...office-201. For Word it’s much easier, though I initially checked that option but couldn’t find it.
Reviewed the LogicalDrm thread; the recommendation is to load XLSTART with a standard workbook so it launches automatically each time you open Excel. It functions correctly, but when I revisit my saved files, it also opens the default workbook, causing both to appear instead of just one. A bit annoying.
Sure, I understand. Formatting would be a challenge for me. It’s more about processing 10k cells and converting them into CSV format. Let me know if you have any other questions. Hope you find a solution to the issue. By the way, feel free to quote or tag me next time.
