Standard 3 audio jack output motherboard handles 5.1/7.1 channels
Hi, most motherboards claim support for 5.1-7.1 audio with only three audio jacks. Connecting your 7.1 speakers seems tricky because the 7.1 output requires an X4 3.5mm connection for front, center, side, and rear channels. Since the motherboard only has a single 3 (possibly as input), you’ll need an adapter to match the RCA outputs of the speakers to the required 3.5mm inputs. The 7.1 channel speakers typically have eight RCA connectors, so you’ll need an adapter cable converting those to the appropriate channels.
Indeed looks like 7.1 isnt really possible. But also share the motherboard so we can help you look in the manual to find out what how and who.
