Is there any option for a highly dependable mobile router that doesn’t require high speed, yet fits within the budget you mentioned? I’m concerned about the one included with your 9 euro monthly plan—it’s not stable enough for the server setup you’re planning.

I'm not sure what it means to have a non plus ultra reliable mobile router. I've set up network systems before, at least I made it seem that way. Let's clarify the details. Are you planning to use your cellular data for running a server or PC? Do you already own any equipment, and if so, which ones? Are you okay with reusing them? Also, do you prefer a basic data router in one device or a more advanced model with 4G capabilities? Give me more info if you need better guidance.

Back in the day, I relied on a TP Link 3420 that supports USB cellular modem. Setting up Openwrt helped me access more advanced features.

Looking for a top-tier 4G router that supports data plans, works on LTE/4G/5G, and doesn’t require a battery—just a stable connection.

Choose a reliable router with USB support, pair it with a 4G USB dongle, and install it. This combines the strengths of both devices. Ensure the router is compatible with the dongle’s frequency range—especially if purchasing in Germany for optimal performance. This setup lets you enjoy standard internet through the router while leveraging the 4G connection for faster online access.

Sure, no issues at all—just occasional lack of internet. Just need to visit and reset the router.

It can continue for days with a strong cellular signal. I’m not familiar with any newer options because most people still rely on cellular modems. These routers are quite strict about USB dongles, so check that first. I suggest using a USB dongle with an antenna or a socket with a pigtail.
