Hey there! I managed my cloud setup via SSHFS so far—very smooth and reliable. Recently, to allow friends to access it, I installed a Nextcloud server, mainly accessed through a web interface and sometimes via webDAV. Now I’m curious about the security of everything being transferred. Is encryption strong enough? I’ve heard SSH is secure using keys, but I’m not sure how much protection is provided when downloading over HTTPS. What data is actually sent? Could it include personal information? And what about any potential intermediaries intercepting the transfer? I know there’s a lot of discussion online, but I’m still unclear. Thanks for your help, Arokan!
