I frequently encounter issues in games where I explore new areas, causing my disk usage to hit 100% and resulting in severe stuttering. At first, I assumed the problem was with my RX580 graphics card, though that contributed partially. The issue appears across all games as well. It’s an SSD that has been functioning perfectly for about a year and a half—possibly nearing the end of its life. Specifications: Ryzen 5 1600, 16GB RAM, 3200MHz, RX580 graphics, 1TB SSD (BX500), 700W PSU. The SSD comes with a three-year warranty, and I purchased it in April 2021. If it’s failing, returning it might be an option.

Through further extensive testing, I believe the AMD Relive Clipping Software might be responsible for these unusual spikes. For alternatives, you may want to explore other clipping tools that are compatible with AMD processors.
