I adjusted all settings to maximum live time in Samsung Magician. However, each day I see around 10-20GB being written to the 840 EVO drive. I understand it’s fine, but I don’t want my SSD to be nearly full (10TB) after a year. I’m wondering if there’s a way to move the %temp% folder to the HDD.

Transfer the folder to your hard drive, then make a shortcut of it on your hard drive. Remember, memory is rewritten during the operating system installation as it happens naturally.

Instead of 10GB daily, you need to transfer the folder. Shortcuts aren't helping, and creating links seems too complicated.

Learn how to create junctions so folders appear on an SSD even though they're stored on an HDD. Review the PageFile settings and relocate it to the HDD.
